Google Tools for Education

Google for Education created resources to support educators in distance learning.

Growing bank of a number of brief, step by step video tutorials & other resources for Google for Education users, designed for educators in a remote learning environment.

Video Meetings: Synchronous Learning

Zoom is a virtual, video meeting platform with chat features and breakout rooms opportunities for collaborative group work.

Zoom provides their premium subscription free of charge for those school facing closures.

Video Platforms: Asynchronous Learning

Record your screen and/or webcam to give students video of your instruction. Utilizes chrome browser. Free version has a 10 minute time limit.

Make a video and provide students opportunities to respond and collaborate in conversations in video format.

Interactive video opportunities for students in all content areas/grade levels. Embed questions into videos you find or upload.

Protected space to communicate with students, families. Record directly on app or web. Great for younger students. Tutorials on website walk you through each step of using the platform.
